Ignatz Steinhart (1840-1917) – Steinhart Aquarium
in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park named for him – the donater of $250,000 to build. Philanthropist; banker. His home was on Sutter Street – now a hotel.
Typed letter signed in ink, Ign Steinhart, 1p quarto, on sheet of letterhead noting a Manager of Anglo-Californian Bank. Financial content.
Authentic item in overall VG+ condition – signature somewhat faded but readable.
