Graphite ingot
molds
are expensive, they are not as detailed as our Gold and Silver
Push
Ingot Mold Patterns and can only be used for a limited number of
casts. Our Gold and Silver Push Ingot Mold Patterns can last
forever
with proper care. Our Ingot Mold Patterns have a Flexural
Strength
of 4,510 psi a Compressive Strength of 4,000 psi with a
Shore Hardness of 70 D.
The first image above is the 3D image
that
was used to machine the Master Gold and Silver Push Ingot Mold
Pattern.
The second and third images shows what you will receive, the Trump Bust Pattern.
The forth image shows the included, pre drilled screw hole and screw.  The screw makes it easy to remove the pattern from the casting media.
The pictures suck but
the Gold and
Silver Push Ingot Mold Patterns are very detailed. Included is a
screw. Hand
tighten the screw into the pilot hole in the center of the
pattern. The screw not only makes for easy, precise removal of the
ingot
pattern from your casting media it allows you to push the ingot
mold
pattern deeper into the casting media.
Do not push on the
screw!
The screw is only for the removal of
the ingot
pattern from the casting media. Always apply even pressure on the
ingot pattern when pushing the pattern into your casting media.
Pushing the ingot pattern deeper into the casting media allows for
precise, measured amounts of molten metal to be cast and is also
useful to make chunky bars and rounds from any of our Gold and
Silver
Push Ingot Mold Patterns.

We
will be
adding new patterns regularly so check our listing regularly.
We machine a Master Mold with the
tiniest of micro bits to retain incredible detail. It literally
takes 15 to 30 hours to machine each Master Mold! The Master Mold
is
used to cast the Gold and Silver Push Ingot Mold Pattern that you
will receive.
We leave square, sharp edges for those
who prefer square, sharp edges. If you prefer rounded edges simply
sand the sharp edges. Some of the patterns need to be sanded. This
adds character to the ingot. For example #140 – Skull Bar
Pattern can be cast as is but my preference is to sand down the
notches on two long sides.
Our ingot mold patterns are
manufactured for the casting and open pouring of Gold, Silver and
other metals using Delft Clay, Green Sand, Petrobond, Kinetic Sand
or
whatever casting medium that you use. (I do not know if my push
mold
objects are suitable for making polymer clay molds) Simply push
them into your casting media to leave the impression in your
casting
media. Many can also be used with two sided casting rings and
flasks.
All of our Gold and Silver Push Ingot
Mold Patterns can be open poured. Many can be cast with two sided
casting rings and flasks. Our longer or larger push molds can be
open poured in 3″ to 4″ pieces of 3″ or 4″ or 6″
pvc pipe.
